I’m just waiting for my afternoon walk across the fields. The sun is shining, just perfect for a lovely walk. My mum has several walking routes from the pub so if you visit us just ask for some. Hanley Swan is looking very pretty at the moment with the crocus and daffodils blooming. Please remember that you are welcome in the garden and bar area with your dog and if he is friendly, I might just come and say hello.

Business is starting to pick up as the weather is getting better. Our new Head Chef, Laura has settled in and her food is so good, my mum is complaining that she is putting on weight. Our new Sous Chef, David starts on Wednesday so there will be a full compliment in the kitchen. I’m not allowed in the kitchen but I can tell you that the smells that come from it are wonderful.
Changing the subject, I am on You Tube. Just type in Hanley Swan and you’ll find me. As you can see, I’m very slim as no scraps come my way!!!!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. I got a new ‘tuggy’ toy, a rubber bone and a lovely hide bone and lots of lovely treats. The best bit though was playing in the snow. I have great fun hiding my frisbie in the snow and digging it out. I think mum and dad enjoyed it too although they won’t admit it! I’ve taken a liking to paper and keep stealing my mum’s receipts, she doesn’t find this very funny but I love it especially when she chases me to take them off me.
Mum says to tell you all to look out for special mid-week offers on our bedrooms. Also, don’t forget St Valentines Day, 14th February. You will need to book your table but don’t worry I will remind you about that nearer the time.
Anyway, happy new 2011 and keep looking because I am going to upload some pictures of me.
